[Surface Treatment VA Proposal] Introduction of New Surface Treatment from Anodizing | Development Proposal Case Study
We will introduce the issues related to anodizing treatment of aluminum die casting and aluminum materials, as well as the reasons for VA proposals.
We propose alternative surface treatments to anodizing when there are concerns about the cost and quality of aluminum die casting and anodizing treatment for aluminum materials. ADC12 contains a significant amount of silicon, ranging from 9.6% to 12.0%, and since silicon is a semiconductor, it poses a problem in achieving a uniform aluminum oxide film. By adopting our proposed "Gala treatment," as well as "jig (rack) treatment" and "spray treatment," processing costs can be reduced, while maintaining corrosion resistance equivalent to anodizing. [Effects after adoption] ■ Processing cost: Half the price of anodizing, depending on product shape ■ Corrosion resistance: Equivalent to anodizing ■ Coating is possible inside pipes and joints due to groove cutting treatment ■ Lower baking temperature, contributing to carbon neutrality ■ Easy in-house production for customers due to simple equipment *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
